Fred Meeks

Fred A. Meeks, 65 of Springfield, Missouri passed away Sunday June 20, 2021 in Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. He was born August 28, 1955 in Stockton, California to Harry Raymond and Ragene Alice (Graber) Meeks.

After High School, Fred enlisted in the Marine Corp in Oct 1974. Fred married a few times and had three beautiful children, Kimberly Pearson, Brenton Meeks and Matthew Meeks, who he loved very much and the time he spent with them. He worked in health care for patients requiring home care and as a truck driver.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Meeks and David Baker.

He leaves behind his wife Rosalia Meeks and son Matthew Meeks; two grown children, Kimberly Pearson and Brenton Meeks; 4 grandchildren, Brianna, Seth and Colin Meeks and Kami Pearson. Fred is also survived by his mom Betty Meeks; sister Debra Smith; brothers Michael Meeks, Raymond Baker, Darin Meeks, Harry Meeks Jr, Carl Meeks. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Fred’s remains will stay with his wife and return with her to the Philippines.

There will be a local memorial service to be announced.
