Franklin Stoops

Franklin D. Stoops, 57, Springfield, MO passed away Monday, September 23, 2013 in Mercy Hospital.
Franklin was born August 23, 1956 in Springfield, MO to Oral and Elizabeth (Crawford) Stoops.
He served in the U.S. Army. He worked for Springfield Lincoln Mercury Jeep.
Franklin was a huge fan of Nascar Racing and he enjoyed classic cars and plants.
Immediate survivors include his two sons, Brian Stoops and his wife Crystal of Springfield, MO and Charles Nathan Stoops and his wife Jennifer of Salisbury, MO, three grandchildren, Paige, Jacob and Connor Stoops of Springfield, MO, two sisters, Glenda and Brenda and two brothers, Ronnie and Calvin Stoops.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 28, 2013 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tom Cochran officiating.
At his request, memorial contributions are to be directed to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Southwest Missouri Humane Society in lieu of flowers please.
