Floyd Rippee

Floyd Lee Rippee, 65, from Springfield, Mo. passed away Friday morning in ManorCare Health Services. Floyd was born March 25, 1946 in Ava, Mo. to William and Lena (Bievens) Rippee.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Faye and daughter Jennifer Snelgroes.

He is survived by his four children, Angela Premo, Danise Flanders and her husband, David, Sherry Karolak and her husband, Jakub, and his son, Shawn Rippee and his wife, Mary; his grandchildren, Leigha, Brianna, Shonna, and Shane Rippee, Rebecca Randall, Bradley and Brian Schubert, Derek, Dwayne and Danielle Flanders, Shandi and Jason Dayton, Heather Simmons, Amanda and Randall Premo; eight great grand-children; and his four siblings, Dale Rippee, Gladys Holman, Clayton Rippee, and Boyd Rippee, all from Ava, Mo.

Floyd was known as a hard worker, and for taking care of his family. His favorite watering hole was Dino's where he witnessed his son take his first steps. Floyd loved to fish, and loved to talk about it.
