Everett Rollins

Everett M. “Moose” Rollins, age 74, passed away on Tuesday, April 30th, 2019, in his home in Springfield, Missouri.

His memorial visitation will be held Saturday, May 11th, from 2-3:30 p.m. at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut Street, in Springfield.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Nora; and brothers, David, Edward, William, and Donald.

Everett retired from the Marshfield R-I School District after working for many years as a paraprofessional educator, school bus driver, and coach. Being a mentor for students was his passion.

He graduated from Arcadia High School in Scottsdale, Arizona in 1963 where he was an All-American football player and highly successful baseball player. He remained an avid sports fan -- especially college football and softball -- throughout his life.

Everett will be fondly remembered by his friends and family as a loving father and proud veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Clara; three daughters, Shannon, Tracy, and Rebecca; two granddaughters, Emily and Lillabeth; two sisters, Betty and Donna Ann; two brothers, George and James ; and several nieces and nephews.
