Evelyn Sue (Cox) Langford, 79, passed away at Cox South Medical Center on November 7, 2013.

Evelyn was born in Scott City, MO to Albert Souders and Mary Margaret Bradley on July 8, 1934. She graduated high school in Chaffee, MO. She married F.D. “Scotty” Cox and from this union had four sons.
In 1982, Evelyn married Kyle Langford and they enjoyed each others company until his death. She was a homemaker most of her life and loved children and pets. (Most likely in that order!) She loved to plant and tend to flowers during the summer. She enjoyed life to the fullest. You could be the target of a prank or given a hug if you just met. Her smile was infectious.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Mary Margaret Souders and her husband Kyle Langford.
Evelyn is survived by her two sisters, Margie (Phillip) Eastwood of Chaffee, MO and Doris Bentley of Springfield, MO; four sons Randy Cox, Springfield, MO, James “Doug” (Tammy) Cox, of Mt. Vernon, MO, Kirby (Kimberly) Cox, Springfield, MO and Vincent (Linda) Cox, Springfield, MO; four grandchildren Zachary (Jocelyn) Cox, Kelsea (Aaron) Cupp, Nicollette Cox and Keifer Cox, all of Springfield, MO. She is also survived by her two faithful companions, Jeff and Jackie Blue, whom she dearly loved and are also feeling her loss.
