Dr. White (Doc) was loved and admired by his family, patients, and friends. He had a passion for his medical career that included being both a pharmacist, and an accomplished and well respected OBGYN. He was an integral part of so many families, having delivered thousands of babies that spanned up to four generations in Phelps County MO and the surrounding area.

He loved to mentor in all things education and loved to share his talents in simple everyday projects... teaching people how to fix things or build things.

Susan was loved and cherished by family, patients and friends.

She was a skilled obstetrics nurse, champion for the rights of the unborn and loving mother and nana. She had a huge heart, loved to laugh, and was always trying to help others. Susan loved to knit and crochet and had new projects in the works right up to the end of her life.

Eugene and Susan met while attending a medical convention on the cruise ship The Love Boat, they married Sept 1,1981 in Sitka Alaska half way through the cruise.

She moved to Rolla with her 2 children shortly after and became part of the medical practice.

They were both passionate about serving the Lord and were uncompromising in their faith and integrity.

They both loved to travel, experience new culture and fishing for trout.

Susan and Eugene are survived by seven children: Joan Singer (husband Rob), Sam White (wife Rhonda), Jeanine Holmes (husband Craig), Diana de Andrade, Robert Morrissey (wife Angie), Tammy Smith (husband JD), and Athena Morrissey; 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

There will be a graveside services at 10:00am on June 5, 2021 at Resurrection Cemetery, 4528 W Division St, Springfield MO 65802.
