Esther Y. Ahern, 76, Fox Lake, IL, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2013. She was born September 26, 1936 in Chicago, IL. Her parents were Eshoo and Iris Yonan. She was preceded in death by her husband James Joseph Ahern, her mother, a brother, Ralph Yonan, and sister, Elizabeth Bitner.
Her surviving family includes two children, Jean Ahern Kalapathy of Springfield, MO, and James Joseph Ahern Jr. of Rockwall, TX. Four grandchildren: Rebecca Ahern, Spencer Ahern, Paul Kalapathy Jr., and Christiana Kalapathy. Two surviving sisters, Laura Pecen of Elkhorn, WI, and Sandra LaShear of Northbrook, IL.
