Emmett Jones
Emmett Elmo Jones was born in Vinita, Oklahoma on October 16, 1931 and passed away in his home on May 10, 2013. He was a member of National Heights Baptist Church. After 31 years employment with Roadway Express he retired in 1986. While with the Army he was stationed in South Korea.
Elmo was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Ruby (Keller) Jones and brothers, Gerald, J.B., and Tim Jones. His survivors are Myrtle Jones, wife of 56 years, daughter and her husband Renae and Terry Ohmstede of Willard, grandsons Kalon and Morgen Ohmstede of Willard, and sister Juanita Stafford of Welch, Oklahoma.
The body has been cremated and no services are planned at the request of the deceased.
Cremation arrangements are under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home.
