Elton Davis

Elton B.J. Davis, 90 passed away Wednesday September 28, 2011.

He was born to Parlie and Issac Davis July 5, 1921 in Guy, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Marie Davis; two brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by his devoted stepdaughter, Peggy Jones and husband Evan of Springfield, MO, stepson, Larry Stidham, son, Leonard Davis, daughter, Delores of California, eleven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.

“Pappy” was very devoted to his family with a strong faith in God. He was always a hard worker, his motto: “What can I do to help?” He will be so missed.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday October 1, 2011 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut St. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
