Elouise O'Gorman

Mrs. Elouise M. O'Gorman 86, Springfield passed away at 8:20 p.m. Tuesday August 16, 2005 in The Manor at Elfindale.

Elouise was born Oct. 4, 1918 in Springfield, Mo. to Dorrell and Edna (McCoy) Lloyd. She worked as a secretary for Drury College.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandson, James Michael O'Gorman, Jr. and her brother, William Lloyd.

Mrs. O'Gorman is survived by her husband John of Springfield, her son James Michael O'Gorman and his wife Mona of Cedar Hill, Texas; her daughter, Marilyn Collins of Atlanta, Georgia; four grandchildren, Tracy St. John and her husband, Loyd, Lori Stringer and her husband Philip, Glen O'Gorman and his wife Connie, and Timothy Collins; seven great grandchildren, T.J. & Stephanie St. John, Phillip and Austin Stringer, and Glen, Sean and Christopher O'Gorman.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday August 19, 2005 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home 500 E. Walnut St. with Msgr. Thomas Reidy officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 pm to 7:30 p.m. today (Thursday) in the funeral home.
