Mr. Ellery Norton Brown, 83 of Springfield passed away Friday afternoon March 4, 2011 in his home.
Ellery was born July 8, 1927 in Chamberlain, South Dakota to William and Grace Baker (Qualm) Brown. He served in the Merchant Marines and later served in the U.S. Army. Ellery loved deep-sea fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his three children, Carrie Bruns and her husband, Robert, Candice Brown and Andrew Brown and his wife, Starr; his grandchildren, Shayla MacInnis, Andrew E. Brown, Bill Loy, John Loy and Teeya Bruns; and many great grandchildren and friends.
A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
