Elizabeth Bandu

Elizabeth Ann Bandu, 87, Strafford, Mo, formerly of Pasadena, Tx, departed this life on March 15, 2013, in her home. She was born January 6, 1926, in Washington, D.C. to
Alvaro and Ruth Bates. She was a homemaker and member of Living Word of God Church.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, John Elliot Bandu; and her son, John C. Bandu.

Survivors include her eight children, Corey Bandu, Suzanne Kandler, Patricia Smith, Linda Wright, Ruth Kowis, Christine Hanks, Mary Bandu-Vinzant and Audrey Waldrop.
Ten great grandchildren, Jeremy Bandu, Christopher Wright, Seth Waldrop, Trina Kowis, John Martin, Joshua Smith, Rebekah Smith, Brittney Partlo, Stephen Britz and Cameron Britz.

A private family viewing will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013, in Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St, Des Plaines, Il. Graveside services will follow in Irving Park Cemetery, Chicago, Il.
