Eileen Edwards

Eileen E. Edwards, 91 of Ft. Smith Arkansas formerly of Springfield passed away Thursday, November 27, 2014 in Fianna Hills Nursing and Rehab Center in Ft. Smith, Arkansas.

Eileen was born August 17, 1923 in St. Louis, Missouri to William C. and Mammie E. (Foster) Wittneber.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Edward Savage and her daughter, Connie Bartle. Eileen is survived by her daughters, Louise Skouby (Richard), Patricia Kelley, L., Norma Smith (Gary) & Nita; her sons, Leland Edwards, Jr., Donnie Edwards and Lee Edwards, her daughter-in-law, Sue Savage and son-in-law, David Bartle, 23 grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren; her sister, Velma Gestring and her brother, William Wittneber and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday November 30, 2014 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Chapel 500 E. Walnut Street with Pastor Gary Bartle officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service.
