Edward Williams

Edward Eugene Williams, age 97, of Springfield, Missouri passed away at Mercy Hospital on Saturday, June 8th, 2019.

He was born on April 19, 1922 in Springfield, Missouri the son of Percy Williams and Orpha (Truax) Williams.

Edward was a Carpenter by trade and enjoyed woodworking.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Gladys Williams; and his son, Larry Williams.

Edward is survived by his son, David Williams; his daughter-in-law, Nancy Williams; three grandchildren, Aaron, Chris and Jill; his nephew, Rick Williams; and many other family members.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut in Springfield.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Springfield.
