Edgar Brown

Edgar P. Brown, 82, Springfield, passed away at 5:10 a.m. Saturday, February 19, 2005 in Christian Health Care West. He was born July 3, 1922 in Rockbridge, Missouri to Walter and Cloney (Driscoll) Brown. He was married to Marion Juanita Brown and was a veteran of World War II.

Edgar was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Mary Ellen Brown; one brother, Eddie P. Brown; and three sisters, Jewell Williams, Goldie Ingle, and Rosie Wasmar.

Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Marion; a son, Larry S. Brown, of Indiana; two daughters, Brenda Nicosia and husband, Joe of Riverside, CA, and Deoni Lynn Clough of Rancho Cucu Monga, CA; four brothers, Edward, Alvia, and John of Springfield and Willard of Republic; one sister, Louise Boyet of Springfield; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, February 25, 2005 with Chaplain Ron Horner officiating, in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut. Burial with military honors will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
