Dorothy Dimple "Dottie" Williams 53, Springfield passed away unexpectedly Monday morning, March 26, 2007 in her home.
Dottie was born Jan. 10, 1954 in Springfield, Mo. to Wilbur Freeman and Bertha Adelia (Wright) Perkins. She worked as a seamstress and was a CNA at the Mary E. Wilson Residential Care Home. In her CB Radio Community she was known as the "Dizzie Duck". Dottie had a big heart, was very outgoing, never spoke badly of anyone and would give the shirt off her back to help a friend.
Dottie was preceded in death by her parents, and a granddaughter, Erin Perkins. She is survived by her boyfriend, Carl Hill of the home; her three children, Jessie Melinda Perkins of West Plains, Betty Ann "Kiki" Hudson of Highlandville, Charles Robert Pryor of Springfield; 8 grandchildren including, Amanda Harris, and one great grandchild; her four siblings, Beverly Burks and Dean Perkins both of Morrisville, Doris Austin and Jenny Carter both of Springfield, many aunts, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorial graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday March 29, 2007 in Bellview Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Loving officiating. No visitation or viewing is planned. Online condolences can be made at www.hhlohmeyer.com.
