She was born in Dotsonville, Tenn. to Lawrence Evans and Bessie (Poole) Evans.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and children, Loretta Chapman, Donald Carney, Thomas Carney, and Jerry Carney.
Dorothy is survived by her two daughters, Kathy Fleck and Sue Greco; grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home. No services are planned at this time
