Doris Arlene Hindman, age 60, of Billings, MO. passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2004, in her home.
She was born on April 5, 1944, to Harley and Thelma Helms, Vallejo, California. Doris was retired from M.C.I. in telephone sales. She had been a member of South Campbell Ave. Baptist Church since 2001.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Cecil Hindman, of the home; her son, Donald Branstetter, Springfield; her daughter, Alice Hargis, Fair Grove; two step-sons, Clyde Hindman, Garden City, KS. and Paul Hindman, Clafin, KS. and two step-daughters, Cecilia Hilburn, Springfield and Julia Mae Smith, Pleasant Hill, MO.; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters; Melba Gorman, Kansas City, Mo., and Carol Seibel, Yakima, Wa. and one brother; Howard Helms, Sioux Falls, S.D.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 2, 2004, in South Campbell Ave. Baptist Church, with the Rev. Oran Cobb and Rev. Joe Decker, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4:00 p.m on Sunday in the funeral home.
