Doris Farabee

Doris Jean Farabee, 80, Springfield, passed away Tuesday June 18, 2013.
She was born March 20, 1933 in Springfield, Missouri to Herbert and Dorothy Mills. She enjoyed a career of over 25 years with the St. Agnes school cafeteria, followed by several years of service with the parish and prison ministry.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Farabee; and her son, David Farabee.
She is survived by her children, Rick Farabee (Melody), Jeff Farabee (Brenda), Teresa White (John), Phil Farabee (Brenda), Debra Braig (Dave) and Chris Farabee; daughter-in-law, Marjorie Farabee; sister, Betty Wilson (Charles); 20 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday June 22, 2013 in St. Agnes Cathedral. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with a prayer service starting at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut St.
