Donna Marie Thulin, 78, of Brookline, Mo, passed away on November 17, 2013.
She was born November 22, 1934 in Madison, Ne to Alfred and Martha Schmidt. She graduated from Fremont, Ne high school in 1952. On December 18, 1954, she married Ralph Thulin in Trinity Lutheran Church Fremont, Ne, whom survives her.
She had four children, Denise of Rocky Mountain House, Canada, David of Springfield, MO, John of Harrisonville, Mo and Jane Bostic, who proceeded her in death this past June; two brothers and one sister; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren also survive.
She was proud of her volunteer work for Helping Hands of Bentonville, Ar and received recognition from former Gov. Mike Huckabee for her work there. In addition, she was also involved in making several hundred quilts for the Lutheran Women Missionary League in Trinity Lutheran in Springfield, Mo.
She was a great wife and mother and was outstanding in helping her husband in their many moves to various locations in their 58 plus years of married life. She was especially strong these last years in her fight against heart disease and infection.
Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday November 22, 2013 in Trinity Lutheran Church, 1415 S. Holland, Springfield, Mo.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to the Luther Women Missionary League.
