Donna Kay Aton Smith, age 81, of Ozark, Mo., passed away at 11:24 a.m. on May 15, 2024, in Mercy Hospital.
After a private viewing, she was cremated and given into the care of her children.
She was born September 14, 1942, to Chloe and Alfred Aton. She attended Parkview High School, graduating in 1959.
She married James B. H. May on November 8, 1959, and bore two children. They divorced on April 10, 1967.
Her second marriage, to Travis Dwayne Morris on April 21, 1967, bore one child, divorce date unknown.
She is survived by two brothers, Jim, and Bill Aton; two children, Mark May, and Sherie May Myles; Three grandchildren, Katherine A. Keyworth Cobo, Michael G. Keyworth and Mark R. Keyworth; four great-grandchildren, Jeremiah Cobo, Angelina May, Sophia Jurczak, Anastasia Keyworth; two nephews, David Tate, and Darryl Aton; three nieces, Shari Aton, Lori Aton Peterson, and Suzanne Tate Crossno.
She is predeceased by one sister, Jennell Aton Nichols; one daughter, Michelle Morris Collins; two nieces, Linda Aton, and Tina Tate Braden.
She worked as a Quality Assurance inspector within the microelectronic field.
She loved to plant and care for her flowers in the yard and plants within her home; she spent time doing arts and crafts and was an avid collector of different things.
She is loved and will be missed.
