Donna Phillips

Donna Lea Phillips passed away on September 22, 2008 at 11:23 a.m. in St. John's Hospital.

Donna was born July 18, 1963 to Okey Clarence and Mary (Ford) Delaney in Philippi, West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Okey and Mary.

Donna is survived by her children, William G. Phillips II, Brandi (Phillips) Brooking, and her husband, Chris of Oklahoma, Britten Phillips, and his wife Brandie (Watson) Phillips; her two grandchildren Christopher "C.J." Brooking and Landen Phillips; her companion, Michael Grochowski. She also leaves behind 4 sisters, 1 brother, and a host of nieces and nephews.

To those who knew her, they would know of her creativity and her witty yet logical way she viewed the world. She was very political and a democrat through and through. Her hobbies included reading romance novels, writing, and watching her grandchildren grow. To her children, she was an awesome woman who loved us more than life itself, and that love grew when she became a grandmother. Always full of advice, she guided her children through life and led us to the right path. Kind, caring, and loved by her family...she will be missed.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday September 28, 2008 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut. Funeral services will be at 12 p.m. Monday in the funeral home with burial at Clear Creek Cemetery.
