Donald W. McNeall, 89, formerly from Springfield, MO, passed away Monday, October 28, 2024 in his son’s home in Bartlesville, OK.
He was born February 15, 1935, to W. C. and Hazel (Fletcher) McNeall in Keytesville, MO. Donald married Wanda (Smith) McNeall on June 3, 1955. After he pastored a few churches in Arkansas and Missouri, the couple were missionaries in Brazil with the International Mission Board for 32 years, retiring in 1998. After retiring, they were long-time members and active at Macedonia Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two sisters and their husbands: Juanita (McNeall) Pearman & Denny and Wilma (McNeall) Haun & Donald, and son-in-law Richard Greer.
He is survived by his children Janice Johnson and her husband Michael, Paul McNeall and his wife Doyleen, and Brenda Greer; his grandchildren Caleb and Hannah Johnson, Cameron and Leandra McNeall, and Alexis, Kenny and Andrew Greer; great-grandchildren Jaxon and Bryson McNeall; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 1-2pm on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at Macedonia Baptist Church, 3110 W. Sunshine Street in Springfield, Missouri followed by the Funeral Service at 2pm with Rev. Alan Locke officiating. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut, Springfield, Missouri.
