Donald Goddard

Donald Martin Goddard Jr. passed from life on 08/22/2022.

Donald was born on May 29th, 1954, in San Fransisco, California, to Dorothy Mae Young and Donald Martin Goddard Sr.

He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Nathan Goddard (infant) and his mother, Dorothy.

He is survived by his father Donald Sr. and his four siblings, Dorothea, Donita, David, and Mary. His children, Donald Martin Goddard III (wife Amber), Bob Goddard (wife Crystal), Stacee Renee Lees (husband Jeremy), and Lauren Dene Goddard. He was a grandfather of six grandchildren, Haley, Kyle, Cody, Kayla, Kaylee, and Austyn and four great grandchildren, Olivia, June and Sawyer (twins) and unborn Greyson. He leaves behind his best friends, Todd Blakemore, Beverly Martin, Harvey Tindell, Julie McGinnis Harris, and his special companion Kloie Hazel Marie Goddard (dog).

In his life he worked at Lily Tulip and Dairy Farmers of America and in construction. Don was a very friendly, outgoing, and generous person. He had so many people who loved him. He became a father at the age of 19 and went on to have four more children. He was a loving father but could be tough on his children. All he wanted was to prepare his children for a world in which he wasn't there to protect them. He loved his country music, especially Elvis. One of his favorite hymns was In the Garden, which he would sing as often as possible. He was very skilled in wood working and mechanics and loved teaching that to his children. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing and he loved having a garden. He enjoyed playing lottery scratchers. He was a great father, son, brother, and friend. Like his eldest son said, "He was larger than life, once he was in your life, he played a big part in it."

A Celebration of Life for Donald will be held at a later date. Please check the family's social media for updates.
