Mr. Donald “Ty” Cobb, 85, El Dorado Springs, MO passed away at 1:07 PM Wednesday, November 9, 2011 in Cedar County Hospital.
Ty was born August 25, 1926 in Lamar, MO to Walter and Lorraine (Weed) Cobb.
He was a butcher all his life and worked for Dales Packing Company in Lamar, MO for many years and Motts Packing in Rockville, MO until his retirement.
Ty was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting and fishing and being with friends.
Ty is survived by one son, Donald Cobb Jr. of El Dorado Springs, MO.
He was preceded in death by his wife Delcie Imogene Cobb on September 26, 2004.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 12, 2011 in Taberville Cemetery, Taberville, MO. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM where the family will receive friends prior to the service in Sheldon Funeral Home, El Dorado Springs, MO. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Lohmeyer Funeral Home, Springfield, MO.
