Diana Stanford was a long time Waynesville City Council member, a student of Waynesville history and an original volunteer for Old Settlers Day. She passed away on Wednesday March 25th, 2015, at 61 years old.
Diana was rich with friends who enjoyed her story telling, sense of humor and, impish grin.
She is survived by her mother, Mary S. Taras, many god children, her brother and sister-in-law; George and Linda Wheeler, her step neice, Neda Walters and her son, and step nephew, Brent Walters and his family.
