Denzil Bush
Denzil L. Bush, 86, St. Louis, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2008. He was born July 19, 1922 in Springfield, Mo. to William C. & Sarah Frances (Cowell) Bush.
Mr. Bush was a Marine Corps Veteran of W.W.II, a recipient of the Purple Heart and was a Chemistry teacher at Kirkwood High School for 27 years.
He is survived by his wife, Betty J. (Smith) Bush; children, Jean (Dale) B. Birkeland, Barbara (Jim) Hudgens, Sue (Ken) Davies, Fran (Ned) Ewart, Denny (Becky) Bush, Bruce (Michelle) Bush, Theresa (John) Ebeling, Charlie Bush, John (Julia) Bush, Bernadette (Larry) Kaiser, and Tom (Staci) Bush; 32 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Virginia Bush; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; and many friends.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday July 23, 2008 in Dishman Cemetery under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home.
