Deborah Sue Leader was born August 23, 1954 in Malone, New York, and entered into eternal rest on October 13, 2010 at Cox South Hospital after a year's fight against cancer.
She was preceded in death by her father, Paul H. Bicknell; her stepfather, Dallas P. Leader, Jr.; sister-in-law, Carmen Bicknell; stepsister, Jennifer Miller; "Mother-in-love", Waynette DeGraffenreid; uncles, Bill Jenner, Roy Hogle, Ray Haas, Bill Dixon and Bramwell Leader.
She is survived by her "beloved" Bill DeGraffenreid; her mother, Mae Leader, of Forsyth, Missouri; brothers, Richard and Brian Bicknell; aunts, Betty Jenner, Catherine Haas, and Lillian Dixon; children, Stephanie Braden, Brent DeGraffenreid, Angie Boyd, and Tina Demos; 9 grandchildren, and an expected great grandchild.
She was a devoted daughter, caring and compassionate, and anyone who met her recognized her beautiful spirit. Deborah loved nature and tending her many flowers and plants, and she always had dogs, cats, and other furry animals in her life. Her church of choice was United Methodist.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday October 16, 2010 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut St. with the Rev. Linda Nelson, pastor of the United Methodist Church of Billings, officiating.
