David Schwinck

David Theodore Schwinck, Jr., age 69, passed away in Springfield Missouri on Sunday, January 19th, 2020.

David was born in Detroit Michigan on January 11, 1951, the son of David Theodore Schwinck, Sr. and Naomi Elizabeth (Beard) Schwinck.

David, Dave as he liked to be called, worked in the Pharmacy industry as a store manager for many years. He then worked for Amoco Oil as a field rep. He moved to Springfield, Missouri in 1991 where he was introduced to Patty McBride; and in July 1993 they were married.

As a child he loved to go up North to his uncles gun shop: where he learned to shoot guns and loved to go skeet shooting with family and friends. He loved to tinker with projects. He will be greatly missed.

Dave is proceeded in death by his parents Dave and Naomi Schwinck and beloved Aunt Phylis Beard.

Dave is survived by his wife, Patty; son, Brock McBride and his wife Amy and their three children, Braeden, Rylea, and Olyvia Burgess; his sister, Debra Kring and her husband Keith, their children, Katie, Kevin and wife Lindsay; a sister-in-law, JoNeita Fleeman, her husband Kenneth (Kenny), their children, Kendra and Jason Mauck, Kody and Jennifer Fleeman; great nieces and nephews, Nate and Skyelynn Mauck, Kenley and Kooper Fleeman; Niece Jessica McBride, her two children Mattie and Gracen; nephews, Jared and Michael McBride and Michael’s son Ty; and his best friend, Wayne Preuett.

A visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 am on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut Street in Springfield, Missouri. A funeral service will begin at 10:00 am in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Floyd McDonnell officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, 411 S. Dunnegan Avenue in Bolivar, Missouri.
