David Houston

Mr. David Scott Houston, 53, of De Soto, Missouri passed away Friday, March 25, 2016 at his home in Springfield, Missouri.
Dave was born May 30, 1962 in Jefferson County, Missouri. He spent ten years as a service technician for Sears; he also did various other jobs throughout the course of his life. Dave was a caring man who would do anything for anyone - regardless of the time of day or if he was busy. He truly was always willing to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing softball, and drinking beer with family and friends. Dave was also an avid St. Louis Blues fan, watching every game that he could.

Dave was preceded in death by both of his parents and his two brothers. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Houston; his two sons, Colby Houston and Brett Houston; his sister Cheryl and her husband Gary; his sister Cindy; his sister-in-law Pat, as well as many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed.

A visitation/viewing will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. at Herman Lohmeyer Funeral Home in Springfield, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers as an expression of sympathy, financial contributions may be made to the family.
