David Folsom

David Arthur Folsom, 77 of Springfield, Mo. died on Wednesday Nov 15 2017 from a cardiac arrest.

Born on September 15 1940 in Springfield, Mo. He was the son of John Arthur Folsom and Erma Jeanette Folsom-McCoy

David served in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam from 1961 to 1965 in the 431st which took part in refueling missions.

He was employed for over 20 years as a truck driver with Foremost Dairy and Consolidated Freightway.

Mr. Folsom enjoyed fishing and gardening. he was a devoted son, very loving and giving Father and Grandfather.

David is survived by his mother, Erma Folsom of Springfield, Mo.; one daughter, Christee Kimmel of Kansas City, Mo.; and one granddaughter, Sydnee Kimmel of Kansas City, Mo.; one sister, Roma Carol Gouty of Florida. He was proceeded in death by his father, John Folsom.

A visitation will be held at Herman Lohmeyer Funeral Home on Tuesday November 21st from 10:30 to 11:30 am with graveside services following at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens at 12:00 p.m.
