David Cowan

David L. Cowan, 63, of Springfield Missouri, passed away on Thursday, May 19th, 2022 in Springfield Missouri.

He was born February 16th, 1959.

David enlisted in the United States Marine Corp on March 1, 1976. He honorable served his country and retired on September 1, 2007 after 31 years. During his time in the Marines, he received nomurious awards including, 2 Purple Hearts, Afghanistan Campaign Medal (ACM), Iraq Campaign Medal (ICM), SSBN Nuclear Deterrent Patrol Breast Insignia, Navy & Marine Corps Expeditionary Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal (Operation Desert Storm), and Kosovo Campaign Medal (KCM).

We were not able to locate any family for David, but to honor him for his honorable service he was interred at 9:00 am on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri
