Daphney Hill

Daphney L. Hill August 31st, 1951 - March 2nd, 2010 "Without my children tomorrow wouldn't be worth the wait and yesterday wouldn't be worth remembering."

Born in Norwood, Mo to Harold Burkholder and Adeline Forgie Burkholder she was always proud to be number 13 of 16 children. Daphney was married to Robert Hill June 3rd, 1978 and enjoyed 31 years of marriage.

It was the small things in life that always made her happiest. She treated everyone she knew like family and was loved by all. To her, family was everything. She always brought joy and laughter to all who were near.

Daphney was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Rosemary Burkholder, four brothers, Jack Burkholder, Harold Burkholder, Dan Burkholder and Larry Burkholder and by one grandchild Robert Hill Jr.

She is survived by her husband Robert Hill of Aurora, Mo, sons Arnold Fisher and wife Teresa of Mt Vernon, Mo, Bradley Fisher of Aurora, Mo, Robert Hill and wife Crystal of Mt Vernon, Mo, Jeffrey Hill and wife Amanda of Aurora, Mo. She is also survived by six sisters and four brothers, Marguerite Crane of Park City, Ks, Dorothy Peterson of Park City,Ks, Hazel Enochs of Rudy, Ar, Judy Reno of Park City, Ks, Patricia Cole of Wichita, Ks, Ruth Keys of Derby, Ks, Gilbert Burkholder of Chester, Ar, Steve Burkholder of Benton, Ks, Mike Burkholder of Mulberry, Ar, Buddy Burkholder of Valley center, Ks.

She is also survived by eight grandchildren, one great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Saturday March 13th, 2010 at Kechi Cemetery.
