Mr. Dan E. Carver, 65, Springfield, MO departed this life at 6:30 AM Tuesday, May 18, 2010 in St. John's Hosptial, Springfield, MO.
He was born October 15, 1944 in Fulton, KY to Roy and Alberteen (Harrison) Carver.
Dan was a museum educator at the Springfield Art Museum.
He was an avid gardener and enjoyed his back yard, friends and family.
Dan is survived by his life partner Randy Bassett of the home, one son, Christopher Wade Carver of Alexandria, VA, his mother, Alberteen Carver of Fulton, KY, one sister, Debbie Drewey of Mayfield, KY and a niece Wendy of Fulton, KY and her family along with a host of family and dear friends who will miss him very much.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut Street, Springfield, MO.
