Daisy Hansen

Daisy Ann Hansen, 76 years old was born January 7th, 1940 at home in Bayard, Iowa, to Fred and Marguerette (Peardon) Ayers. Daisy was one of ten children born to the Ayers family.She passed from this life after a long battle with cancer at 3:12 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 while at the James River Nursing Care Facility, Springfield, MO.
Daisy resided in Springfield, Missouri. Daisy grew up in Bayard, Iowa, and graduated from high school there in 1958.
Daisy married Levi Allen Hansen September 27, 1958. Throughout their 28 year long marriage, Daisy & Levi had two children, daughter Michelle Ann and son Mark Allen.
Together, Daisy and Levi owned and managed the Tacoma Trout Resort in Branson, Missouri.
After Levi passed away in 1986, Daisy, along with son Mark, continued to run the resort. Upon leaving the resort, Daisy worked many years at Central Bible College as a cook and then worked for the Assemblies of God Headquarters as night maintenance until her retirement in 2010.
Daisy was actively involved at Oak Grove Assembly of God. She was a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ, and had a passion for missions. Daisy was a woman of unwavering faith in the love of Jesus, and firmly believed in the power of prayer. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.
Daisy is survived by daughter, Michelle Ann Cranor, (Michael Dean Cranor, spouse) and son Mark Allen Hansen.
Grandchildren: Angela Dawn Owens spouse, Brian Adam Owens, Amanda Leigh Nelson spouse Cody Jo Nelson, Justin David Chapman, Keri Michelle Cranor and McKenzie Leigh Cranor.
Great grandchildren: Carter Adam Owens, Ella Dawn Owens, Hunter Grayson Nelson, Parker Reid Nelson, Hanna Joy Parent, and one more baby on the way.
Siblings: Rita Morlan, Fred Ayers, George Ayers (Jan), Barbara Kalsem (Dave), Denny Ayers (Helen), and Linda Allen (Steve) and a host of other family and friends.
Celebration of Life services will be held at Oak Grove Assembly of God 1320 S. Oak Grove Ave., Springfield, MO 65804 at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 27th with Rev. Ron Morein officiating.
