Cris Ledwell

On Tuesday, October 13, 2020, Cris Timothy Ledwell passed away at the age of 51.

Cris was born on September 14, 1969 in Weymouth, MA to Rita and Bernard Ledwell. He worked in construction, putting his energy into building places for people to love. He indulged in traveling of all sorts, savoring the ocean and mountains. He enjoyed snowboarding, sailing, kayaking, hiking and copious other outdoor activities.

Cris was a phenomenal gardener and cook! He also built his own cabin from harvested native pine on his land. Being an avid music lover, he had an appreciation for numerous different artists throughout his life. He was known for his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit.

Cris was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Ledwell, his mother, Rita Ledwell, and his brothers: Tommy Ledwell, Peter Ledwell, and Dennis Ledwell.

He is survived by his brothers, Paul Ledwell of North Kingstown, Rhode Island; Mike Ledwell of Miami, Florida; Buddy Ledwell of Rogersville, Missouri; Richard Ledwell of Keauu, Hawaii; a sister, Marie West, of Aspen, Colorado; his longtime love, Lisa Hardin of Harrison, Arkansas, with whom he went on countless adventures; also, several cousins, nieces, nephews, and a multitude of friends he made along the way.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
