Claudia Moreno

Claudia Moreno was born on February 25th, 1963 in Cali, Colombia. She came to the United States when she was five years old. As a child she enjoyed music, dancing, and focusing on her school studies. She lived in Miami, Florida and Brooklyn, New York for several years before moving to Grand Rapids, Michigan as a teenager.She enjoyed camping, going to the beach, swimming, reading, going on nature walks, cooking, working out at the gym and spending time with her family.
Claudia was the proud mother of six children that were very dear to her. She devoted her time and energy to her children and five grandchildren throughout her life.
Shortly after being diagnosed with a terminal illness Claudia had made plans to take a cruise with her daughters, as this was something she had always wanted to do. On the day she was scheduled to begin this getaway she passed away.
Claudia, we know you are on that cruise.
Survivors include her six children, Jose Rivera, Chatonyah, Radha, Yahshua, Mikael and Elijah Carter, five grandchildren and one expected grandchild, her brother Al Moreno and her mother Blanca Bingham also survives.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 21, 2012 in Herman Lohmeyer Funeral Home with Chaplain Franklin Reagan officiating.
