Cindy Allyn (Elliott) Arvesen, 52, Springfield, died at 9:15 p.m. Nov. 18, 2004, after a long illness. She was born June 4, 1952, in Butte, Mont. Preceding her in death were her parents, Verdie W. Roark and Beverly J. Huber; a stepfather, Christopher G. Huber; and her daughter, Rachel Elliott. She is survived by three children, Melanie Benboom, Rebekkah Elliott, and Christopher Elliott, all of Springfield. Also mourning her loss are Galen Elliott and Bill Kennedy, and Cindy's five sisters, Lindy Gimlin, Ozark, Donna Turner, Rogersville, Michelle Goddard, Springfield, Charlotte Krug, Knoxville, Tenn., and Suzanne Parks, Republic; one brother, Dan G. Doll, Nashville, Tenn.; two stepsisters; and one stepbrother. Cindy was the proud grandmother of five, including Michelle, Matthew, Billy, Jamie and Joy. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse, and attended the Assembly of God church. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, at Herman Lohmeyer Chapel, with burial to follow in Galloway Cemetery.
