Christopher Taylor

Christopher M. Taylor, 39, of Springfield, Mo passed away at 10:30pm Thursday, June 27th, 2024, in Plattsburg, Mo.

He was born June 13th, 1985, in Springfield, Mo to Cathy Shayhan. He attended school in Springfield until the 8th grade. Chris was unemployed at the time of his passing but had previously worked in construction. He enjoyed playing with cards and showing “magic tricks”, lending a hand when someone needed help, being outdoors and making others laugh. He was adventurous, you say jump and he would say “how high” literally.

Chris is survived by his mother, Cathy Shayhan; his children, Makena Decker and Gavin Dugger; his brothers, Nick White, Silver Shayhan, Thunder Shayhan; granddaughter, Hazeley Decker; a cousin, Megin Loveland; and many more relatives.

Celebration of life will be held from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at Sequiota Park, 3500 S. Lone Pine Avenue in Springfield, Missouri hosted by his daughter Makena.
