Christina Mcdaris

Christina L. McDaris, 66, passed away 8:46 am on Sunday, July 25th, 2021.

Christina was born May 29th, 1955 in Springfield Missouri, to Charles and Gloria Brandenburg.

Christina spent her younger years being a supervisor at two local factories in Springfield, Missouri. She met the love of her life, Douglas E. McDaris in 1982 and three short months later they were married. They shared 39 years of marriage together.

Christina battled being unhealthy and sick for many years of her life. We all believe Christina was just tired and ready to go home to God. Christina will be remembered and missed by many family and friends she leaves behind including 3 children, 8 grandchildren, and one great grandson who will join this world soon.

Christina is survived by her husband, Douglas of the home; her oldest son, Andrew Clint Thomsen and wife Ashley and their children, Pagen and Hemi Thomsen of Aurora Missouri; her middle daughter, Danielle Nicole McDaris and her children, Makayla Babb, Dillian and Dakota Main of Monette, Missouri; and her youngest daughter, Sarah McDaris and fiancé Hugh Wrytell Harvey and their 3 children, Annabelle, Halo and Evolet Harvey of Springfield, Missouri.

A Memorial Service will be at 2:20 pm, Sunday, August 15th, 2021 at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home: 500 E. Walnut Street Springfield, MO 65806, with Pastor Michael Overton presiding over services.
