She was born March 25, 1926 in Garden City, Kansas to Elfonso Hermocillo and Paula (Herrea).
Chonita is survived by her children, Beatrice Arce and Teresa Arce; six grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday March 27, 2009 in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Chapel with Msgr. Thomas Reidy celebrant. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
