Charles Jennings

Charles Floyd John Jennings, 94 of Republic passed away Monday morning Jan. 30, 2012 in St. John’s Hospital.

Charles was born Oct. 10, 1917 in LeMars Iowa to Walter and Esther (Taylor) Jennings. He was preceded in death by his parents, his spouse Bonnie, his son Clayton Jennings and great-grandchild Meghann Jennings.

Charles is survived by his children, Ray Jennings, Sandra Jennings; his grandchildren, Cheri Wine, Troy Jennings, Catina Sauder, Kami Means, Tyler Jennings, and Olivia Jennings; 13 great-grandchildren and his sister, Leona Strong.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday Feb. 1, 2012 in Republic Church of the Nazarene. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday Feb. 2, 2012 in the church under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home Springfield. Committal services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Le Mars, Iowa.
