Charles Deckard

Mr. Charles Harvey Deckard, 75, Springfield, MO passed away August 13, 2012 in Mercy Hospital.
He was born April 21, 1937 in Springfield, MO to Charles and Laura (Crossland) Deckard.
Charles was a U.S. Army Veteran who proudly served for four years.
He worked as a carpenter and was a jack of all trades.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Bill and Linville Deckard, four sisters, Nelly Whitworth, Vivian Suggs, Betty Moore and Ann Johnson and two children that only lived two weeks.
Immediate survivors include his daughter Lisa Pingel and Charles “Chuck” Deckard of Springfield, MO and his son Randy Deckard of Midwest City, OK; two sisters, Loretta Rice and Ada Sawyer, his brother, Bob Deckard, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren, numerous family and a host of friends.
Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Herman Lohmeyer Funeral Home. Private burial will be at a later date.
