Charles R. Clark, 68 of Seymour, MO passed away Sunday, June 14, 2009 after a brief illness at Woodland Manor in Springfield, MO.

He was born May 17, 1941 to Robert R. and Novela Clark in Jackson County, MO. He and his family moved to Bolivar, MO where he attended school. At an early age Charles married Caroline K. Floyd and from that union two daughters were born. Later in life he married Janet Marie Heidelberg and together they raised her four children.

Charles had many talents. He utilized these skills in a variety of ways. His favorite job was being an over the road truck driver. He also worked as a heavy equipment operator and drove a school bus for many years. After retirement in 2003, Charles drove a milk truck on a part time basis. He enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his brother, Sherley.

Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Marie Clark, his step-dad and mother Albert and Novela Cortner, his father, Robert R. Clark and a sister-in-law, Lou Ann Clark.

He is survived by two daughters, Brenda K. Clark, Janet R. Mosier and her husband, Jim, and one brother, Sherley K. Clark, all of Springfield, MO; Step-children, Helen Heidelberg of the home, Jon Heidelberg, William Heidelberg of Savannah, GA and Mary Heidelberg of Seymour, MO.

His final wishes to be cremated will be honored. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 3581 Jerico Road in Seymour, MO.
