Charles "Chuck" Fraser, age 65, of Springfield, MO passed away on July 2, 2006 at Springfield Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
He was born May 4, 1941 in Chamberlain, South Dakota to Clifton and Gertrude (Stephen) Fraser. He graduated from Miller High School in Miller, South Dakota in 1959. He received a Degree in Cabinet Making and Carpentry at Southern State Teacher's College of South Dakota. Chuck is a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Vietnam War.
Chuck was a general contractor most of his life and was known as a handyman for all. He enjoyed pheasant hunting, golf, and traveling to visit his grandkids. He was also a member of various social clubs in the community.
He is preceded in death by his parents Clifton and Gertrude Fraser; and his sisters Peggy (Fraser) Slocum and Donna (Fraser) Aldred.
He is survived by his children Laura and Dave Stoltz; Linda and Darrin Moy; Kevin and Dana Fraser; his grandchildren Rylee Stoltz, Taylor Stoltz, Reed Stoltz, Payden Moy, and Megan Moy; and his two sisters Mary Ann Sivertson and Dee Ann Peterson.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2006 at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral home, 500 E. Walnut in Springfield, Missouri with B. A. Austin officiating. Burial will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery with military honors.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00pm on July 5, 2006 in the funeral home.
