Catherine "Kay" Mcintyre

Mrs. Catherine "Kay" P. McIntyre, 75 of Springfield passed Monday Sept. 21, 2009.

Catherine was born in Chicago, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Julia (McCarthy) Powers, her husband, Robert McIntyre, her brother, Robert Powers, her sister-in-law, Elizabeth Powers, and nephews, Thomas Powers and Joseph Mooney

She is survived by her sister, Mary Frances Mooney, her brother, James Arthur Powers, Jr. and his wife Charlotte; her sister-in-law, Marie Powers; nine nieces and nephews, and many relatives and friends who loved her very much.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday Sept. 22, 2009 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home 500 E. Walnut St. Funeral mass will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in St. Agnes Cathedral 533 S. Jefferson Springfield, Mo. with Fr. Mike McDevitt celebrant. There will be a wake service from 11:30 a.m. until service time Wednesday in the church. Commital services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Fairview Memorial Park 900 N. Wolf Road Melrose Park, Ill.
