Carol Manis

Carol Ann Manis, 57, passed away on March 24, 2011 after a courageous battle with several health problems.

Carol is preceded in death by both parents, C. Wayne Manis and Mary L. Manis. She is survived by two sons, Skyler Christian Spartan, Springfield, and Cody Francis Morrissey, Oklahoma City, and her sister, Janna S. Smallwood, Springfield. One niece, Jessica Smallwood, her nephew, Jason McIntosh, and grand-niece, Katelyn McIntosh.

Carol graduated from Glendale HS and SMSU, with a degree in Sociology. She enjoyed playing cards and going for long drives in the country ogling over the beauty of God's creations. What fed her soul the most, was precious time she spent with her family and her five dearest friends, Vicki Ricketts, Beth Rainwater, Nancy Highfill, Tara Porter and Debbie Wilburn. Her sweet spirit & warmth will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 28, 2011 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Chapel 500 E. Walnut Street. Burial will follow in Maple Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
