Carla Swartz

Carla Jeanne Swartz, 57 of Springfield passed away Thursday August 4, 2011 in her home.

Carla was born October 3, 1953 in Indianapolis, Indiana to William J. and Marjorie (Powell). She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Lela Gullion and her brother, William Wood.

Carla is survived by her husband, Gordon L. Swartz ; her two children, Cathy Zanetta Lovell and Priscilla Cecil; her siblings, Barbara Grubb (Terry), Hope Grisham, Darrell Wood, Kelly Wood (Stacey); and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday August 9, 2011 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home 500 E. Walnut Street. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday August 10, 2011 in the funeral home with Rev. Fred Royer officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in Clear Creek Cemetery.
