Caleb Hessee

Caleb Lee Hessee, aged 21, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018. Caleb was born on October 3, 1996 on the Andrews Air Force base in Prince Georges County, Maryland to Brian Hessee and Jill Evans.

He is survived by his parents, Brian Hessee and Jill Evans; his step-parents, Lisa Collins and Karl Evans. He is also survived by his five siblings, Alec Evans, Gabriel Evans, Liam Evans, Taryn Hessee, and Tierney Brous and her husband, Jacob Brous, and son, Owen Brous. In addition he has many loving grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will continue carrying his memory, including paternal grandparents, Jerry and Jewell Hessee, and Gary LaSalle, his maternal grandfather.

Caleb graduated from Glendale High School in 2015. In high school, Caleb was involved in theater productions, doing lights and sound for several plays and musicals. Aside from theater, Caleb enjoyed movies such as The Lord of the Rings and The Last Airbender. He also loved TV shows and books, some of his favorites being the Game of Thrones series and the Naruto series.

Caleb was quick and funny, never failing to make a sarcastic quip, even during the hard times. His gentle heart, unique soul, and curious spirit will always be remembered. While he will be deeply missed, his family is happy to know he is at peace.

A celebration of his life will be held on August 18 at the Sequiota Pavilion, 3500 S. Lone Pine Road in Springfield from 11am-3pm.
