Buddy Tummons

Buddy Joe Tummons, 63, of Springfield Missouri, passed away on Sunday, September 16th, 2018 at Mercy hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

Buddy was born December 9th, 1954. Buddy loved the outdoors, he was always a get up and go kinda person. He had a love for playing the bass guitar, all the way up until the cancer took over. He loved to read books it didn't matter what it was as. He always had his nose in a book. Buddy also loved to ride his motorcycle. There was nothing like a wide open highway on his bike.

He was very passionate about his relationship with God. His best friend Shirley helped him thru many of his trying times. He was a roofer for many years of his life as well as a veteran of the marine corps.

He is survived by his daughters Sheila and Tara of Springfield and a son William of Joplin. He has 6 grandchildren.

Memorial Service will be at 11:30 am, Monday, October 1st, 2018 at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home 500 E. Walnut Street Springfield, Missouri 65806, with Pastor Gray Nordan presiding over services.
